  • eDispensation

    • It was agreed the NCP sends the acknowledge of the received eD (Is it done in OpenNCP?).

      • However it is requested Country A guarantees double dispensations are avoided, unless allowed by Country A laws.

      • It is left freedom to Country A how to handle eD.

    • Ivo Pinheiro: believes it is implemented like this, but should be confirmed by Piloting Countries.
      • Konstantin HyppönenGareth WoodhamIgor Ljubi (Unlicensed): could you guys please confirm this?
        • Konstantin Hyppönen: After the dispensation is processed in Country A, OpenNCP transmits the acknowledge produced by Country A's National Infrastructure to Country B. The acknowledgment can be Success, if the dispensation has been received and processed correctly, or Error if there was a problem with processing the eDispensation. Possible problems vary depending on the rules for the processing of eDs in Country A. OpenNCP itself cannot guarantee that double dispensations are prevented - this is responsibility of Country A's NI. In Finland, a successfully processed dispensation affects the remaining amount of the drug on the given prescription. If the remaining amount is 0, the prescription is marked as fully dispensed, it is not sent abroad anymore and cannot be dispensed again.
