MEETING NOTES

1. Overarching Vision

    • MISSION
      • Along epSOS:
        • Open group of people orchestrated by an agile software development methodology conducting effort on designing, coding, testing and delivering OpenNCP software

      • Beyond epSOS:
        • Open group of people orchestrated by common principles, conducting effort on designing, coding, testing and delivering eHealth Interoperability technology

    • VISION
      • Along epSOS:

        • Design and develop a set of Open Source Components (OpenNCP) that can be adopted by Participating Nation, to build their local implementation of the epSOS NCP.

      • Beyond epSOS:
        • Design, develop and sustain a set of open source components (OpenNCP) that can be adopted by anyone, to build an eHealth Information Exchange Point.

2. Development Roadmap

  • NATURE
    • NEW FEATURES
    • CONSOLIDATION (fix improvements)
  • Perspectives of discussions:
    • What MUST be ready by the end of 2015;
    • What SHOULD be included in 2016 roadmap;
  • RELEASE
    • ONLY 1 BRANCH...no different versions to be maintained.
  • RELAXATIONS (removal of)
    • CTS2 compliance.

    • Matrix including Functional Improvements (and Beyond Patient Summary and ePrescription use cases), and Non Functional Improvements:
      • Heiko Zimmermann: Template
      • markus.kalliola:Add a column to info where it comes from (e.g: e-SENS) (Rui Alves (Unlicensed) to add info about where it comes from)
        • Heiko Zimmermann: About Non-Rep, we should have specifications for the part of storing this in the DB - have to be documented.
          • Rui: Adress this to e-SENS.
          • Heiko Zimmermann: can contact Masi for this - for confirmation if there's documentation - and later if not check with Kostas...
      • eID: Alexandre Santos provided an update
      • Markus (Unlicensed): Non-Rep should be the priority - close this.
      • Markus (Unlicensed): eID (and SMP also from e-SENS) as well.
        • These have to be tested in the EXPANDATHON
        • Heiko Zimmermann: Non-Rep, what about other topics (Terminology Server, ...) - it should be clear what have to be in the next version to be tested.
        • Alexandre Santos: we have now a version that was made available past July - we didn't have any feedback from countries - eID LARMS+minor changes.
          • We don't have a final version - it was a RC-0 waiting for feedback from countries.
          • Question: Now we are moving towards eID L2 - we're jumping a final release... Can we add to this effort the new developments for the Non-Rep (DB to store the evidences)
          • I predict another RC on mid Nov eID L2 + Non-Rep developments + another portlet for Portal - it's feasible.
          • Bug fixes - on bug log - will be added
          • SMP/SML - will be discussed tomorrow in Brussels with Alexandre, João, Masi and Adrien - important for developments to come.
      • Priorities are there in the matrix.
      • Rui Alves (Unlicensed): Schedule a next meeting and try to clearly define what be included and postponed.
