MEETING NOTES

1. OpenNCP Release 2.2.0 and next steps.

Rui Alves (Unlicensed): After the 2.2.0 stable release of the OpenNCP (thanks again to Kostas Karkaletsis for all your effort and the whole community for making it possible), we need to prepare the Branches for further developments...

We need to adress this to the Release Management Members - perhaps ask Steen Manniche and Kostas Karkaletsis in the next weeks or next meeting.

Markus (Unlicensed): Jerome and Gwen could be a part of this preparation to get to know the procedures - please inform us.

Rui Alves (Unlicensed) include S and @Gwenaelle in the Branch Preparation.

2. Installation Manual - review.

2.1 Installation Manual - OpenNCP: https://openncp.atlassian.net/wiki/x/ZgCp

Rui Alves (Unlicensed): In the last few months a lot of PN's and interested parties have been installing the OpenNCP from scratch and using the Installation M anual , however we may be lacking some information or some information may not be updated. Perhaps we need to do some revision on the Manual... Also there is a lot of info in the comments of the Installation Manual that is useful...

Joao Cunha: Has been installing OpenNCP from scratch. Manual has some lacks, info missing or files not updated. I can share some tips I've gathered.

Two important points:

1. Certificates - how many key stores and trust stores - how to configure them.

2. Make an effort to explain the properties from the DB - easier if we know how can we be affected by changing each one of them.

Markus (Unlicensed): We also had problems and documented some of them, we can share this documentation.

- S + Joao Cunha: share the documentation about the manuals.
- Stéphane Spahni: Revise the documentation and make summary about certificates and Database properties.

Stéphane Spahni: We use, at least for PPT Environment, the same endpoints from Conet (they are in the comments section of the installation manual).

3. Next steps on e-SENS: SMP.

Massimiliano Masi: We had a meeting in DIGIT - exploitation SMP. The suggestion is pilot SMP+SML

The goal is to make NCP a secure node.

Obtain the capability of remote NCP.

We need to have: configuration of ...

Stéphane Spahni: write an e-mail to a small group with the context of what the OpenNCP Community needs to gather, to provide to Masi.

Stéphane Spahni: Yes, we should enable a kind of solution like this:

markus.kalliola: We (EC) can develop this solution for the next OpenNCP Release...

Heiko Zimmermann - agrees, but doesn´t know the effort needed... And perhaps would need the Help from Kostas Karkaletsis,

markus.kalliola - perhaps we explore a solution and later propose to Kostas or someone from the community in a further meeting...

5. Support issues.

IT: Marcello Melgara: We started the downloading and implementation - PPT and OP later - for sure we will have issues.

Rui Alves (Unlicensed): add Luca Pagliara to mail list and create user.

PT: Joao Cunha: We are making customization of the Look & Feel - Liferay Portal

Marcello Melgara: We should have a document with the changes made on the OpenNCP to connect to Portal.

Stéphane Spahni: Perhaps Kostas Karkaletsis can help...

That should be documented.
