Meeting Notes:

  1. Housekeeping => Michèle
    1. Meeting minutes last meeting: No remark on the meeting minutes. In case someone has remarks regarding the minutes in general, there is a comment zone where remarks can be published.
    2. Task force terminology page with limited access – Working documents are shared on this page. Marcello's document on MVC/MTC processes and the project document proposed by FHD are already published there.
  2. Status installation of FH Dortmund server @EC and first observations => Marco Bernardini
    1. installation part
      1. The installation of the prod version went smoothly, server and browser are running
      2. Source code from Git to Marco's environment was pretty easy to set-up & making running. Some administration issues
      3. Marco had a look at the framework used "K", it looks nice
      4. From a translation point of view - some minor things are not translated. Some issues/questions concerning the properties file
      5. On the DB point of view - Marco is trying to figure out how to import our data
      6. Import csv file: it went +/- ok. Problem import with CLAML file might be linked to the configuration?
      7. Peter Haas is working on the translation of the UI. There is a menu where it is possible to change language. There will be soon an English UI for the browser & the administration module
    2. Giorgio Cangioli:
      1. What is the status regarding the MVC? Marco Bernardini: we have only 1 version of the MVC. We do an import of the data (we import 1 table of the MVC) and try to download the current version of ICD 10 from the website. For next week: we will figure out if we can import our data (columns...format)
      2. What about the other terminologies (SNOMED...).
        1. Marco: we are in the phase of exploring the database structure => The idea is to discuss with people from FHD to have an understanding of database structure etc...CLAML to test the feature
        2. In this step we're pushing data to the db and we are analysing the terminology server because we don't have yet the knowledge on the db structure.
        3. Peter Haas: important to understand the structure (and the limitations) and to show how it is designed and how it is working. No user is supposed to make input. On the one hand we should try to import with import with programmes, and on the other hand we should understand the structure.
        4. A specific meeting (face-2-face) on DB structure will be organized next week with a smaller group on where the following topics will be discussed:
          1. What are the code system used by MVC and see if there are issues for handling them + how could be the format used for importing in the future.
            1. e.g. EDQM has some properties and uses relationships...how will we manage the relations.
            2. Same problematic with LOINC etc...
            3. Link with CLAML who manage the relationships etc.
            4. Specialized import if systems not using standard format. Former user (Deleted): there are already special LOINC import that can be used, in addition to CLAM.
          2. Participants: Robert, Peter, Giorgio, and Marcello
    3. A F2F meeting will be organized the whole day in Brussels next Monday with FHD
  3. Proposed approach for the analysis
    1. Presentation of the draft table of content for the technical analysis document. FHD also proposed a project document which content can be included in the technical analysis document
    2. Go through FHD project document, identifying already some work packages:
      1. Language selection: FHD has made the technical approach which is not very hard and would finalize about the user interface
      2. Availability of a UI in the tool enabling to translate on-line with web browser. This topic has already been discussed 2 years ago with international organizations...
      3. 2 main roles: admin and normal users
        1. FHD has lot of experience about more detailed authorization
      4. In the future we have a service with primary services, and other to synchronize semantic between different services. Austria and Germany could use some catalogue. Synchronization with others must be possible => Model of distributed Terminology Server infrastructure
      5. Installation: we don't need to install an instance for the project? => michele.foucart to check if this is correct
  4. Release management – Feedback on proposition sent by DG SANTE and acknowledgement of roles and responsibilities => Tasha
    1. Natasha goes through the main points of the proposition sent by e-mail 2 weeks ago to gather feedback:
      1. Separate the responsibility of TS from eHDSI
      2. Steering group at FH, controlling the master repository
        1. Technical steering team
        2. Business/semantic team: the user community working on those aspects (what features do we include etc.)
      3. FHD agree with the approach for technical steering team and is ok to take the lead of the steering team. Regarding business/semantic: can "work with", but the "organization" of this team should be more for semantic oriented people.
        1. Proposition to keep this topic (business/semantic team) in mind and we see later when the questions are raised.
      4. Question from Stefan: should the person from FH Vienna also join the steering group? This would indeed be helpful, for the work. The Ministry of Health will finance a programme of 2 month to help FHD for the technical team. Stefan advise to invite them to join the meetings even if we separate the fork => Former user (Deleted) will send an e-mail to them
  5. Scheduling next meetings:
    1. Dedicated meeting on FHD TS DB structure   at 2pm => This meeting happen ad-hoc since people from FH will be in Brussels. We'll call Giorgio & Marcello when we discuss MVC structure
    2. Terminology server task force meeting   1pm.
