a) eHealth Forum retrospective

  • Feelings about the workshop (OpenNCP, Trillium Bridge, EXPAND)
    • 40  to 50 people attended...
    • Feelings:
      • Jürgen Wehnert: Workshop character... presentations were connected, that was a good
      • Alexander Berler (Unlicensed)
        • Beyond expectations .... good discussion has been discussed since than... mission accomplish. try to make this workshop present in other events - ROAD SHOW.
        • Shown as a working environment, as living community...
      • Marcelo Fonseca
        • Oracle and CareCom: did a good job in trying to align their presentations with all the workshop
      • Ivo Pinheiro:
        • (sad) no stream to watch....
      • @Isabel Cruz:
        • Expected to have CareCom and Oracle with more information about how implementation really works, toward OpenNCP Reference implementations;
        • Good public discussion with other industry partners (e.g. Oracle), and we should take advantage of trying to get their involvement in next steps (channel open)
      • Trillium Bridge
        • Licinio Kustra Mano: amazing feeling about what we could present in Athens, but a profound awareness about the huge amount of work ahead in order to make th TB pilot scenario reality.
          • Need a bigger alignment about ROADMAP as we as as means (resources and funding) to do the job.
        • Kostas Karkaletsis: same feeling, manage in some days make a demonstration, but for real work we need have better specs, requirements specification, full development process in place;
        • Jürgen Wehnert: we should also a Business Case!!! We can see now a business interest, but not a business case.
        • Alexander Berler (Unlicensed): as a community we should start to have this in our mind set > Business oriented mind set.
        • @Karima: the main  task is map the document between US and EU, there are already Use cases (Patient Mediated, Professional Mediated)
          • Founds are not available, there is no much founds for development;
          • Contact TB PC: Catherine > ask for presentation to the Industry Team.
          • How to go further and support the OpenNCP Community in order to adapt technology to project needs.
        • @Isabel: Would like to know more about Trillium Bridge industry team:
          • What kind of relation should the OpenNCP Community have with TB industry team.
      • EXPAND 
        • not only about epSOS
        • Wait for the Workshop Report: July 2014.

    • Is the OpenNCP Community dependent from epSOS to keep working?

          • Licensing HealthTerm (CareCom agreement with epSOS)
          • SNOMED CT > has an epSOS agreement;
        • Legal Framework Agreement: FWA
          • Allows PNs to pilot Health Care cross border services
          • Agreement for

        • Maintenance To Testing Tools
          •  IHE provided tools


      • OpenNCP Community
        • Continuous Integration: iUZ (migration in plan to PT)
        • Community Management: Atlassian (not dependent from epSOS)

  • Follow Up: UPKEEP OF CROSS BORDER SERVICES (POST epSOS), UNDER THE CROSS BORDER CARE DIRECTIVE

    • Future of the OpenNCP Community
      • Jürgen Wehnert: document
        • PSB meeting 11 of June
          • Submit the paper - 28th prepare the PSB of June. 
        • With "ball park" estimation
        • The roadmap will change for sure, but there is the need of have 
      • GOVERNANCE MODEL SHOULD BE IN PLACE.
      • What are the clients:
      • Which are the dependences:
      • Implementation Guidelines (of OpenNCP)
      • OpenNCP Community Manisfesto
        • Asking for agreement for COMMITTED COUNTRIES.
  • OpenNCP > Vision and Mission (needs review)
    • VISION
      • ...design and develop a set of Open Source Components (OpenNCP) that can be adopted by Participating Nation (are there any other clients???, other organizations, other scopes), to build their local implementation of the epSOS NCP (any other projects,).
        • How to deal with different nature of interests (countries, regions, projects and industry)
          • There is a list of 40 projects running in EU HealthCare - EHR4CR.... reuse the OpenNCP
    • MISSION
      • ...Open group of people orchestrated by an agile software development methodology conducting effort on designing, coding, testing and delivering OpenNCP technology

c) Next steps

  • Releasing the OpenNCP 2.1.1
  • Developments (effort estimation)
    • Provide a full list of the Features (expand the tree);
    • Allow the full description of work;
    • Add some Feature from other projects;
    • Add the Development of Testing Tools (from IHE);
      • how did estimated the work for epSOS?
    • Add effort for disseminating and marketing > maybe add time in the Orchestrator role;

d) AOB

  • Certifcates - NCP Installation
    • (sad).... need to contact with Thomas....
    • The suggestion from epSOS is to buy extension of the certificates, expiration date could be 3 years from now..... 
      • epSOS will try to inform PNs on their schedule for renew
      • OPENNCP-62 - Getting issue details... STATUS
      • AU: is willing to join the epSOS PPT environment or something else PPT environment?
        • If yes, the certificate requirements should be compliant epSOS specs.
          • PPT requirements: are relaxed;
          • but for a PPT or CAT event, they need to have valid certificates;
  • CI Migration 
    • PT (already been approved by the epSOS PSB, DEC2013), IHE (manifestation of interest), eGOBLab (meeting)
      • iUZ is hosting and managing it....
        • PT > I believe we could do this migration in 1 month... 1st July... hand over CEF .. PT will host until the services is handover to EC (trough CEF).
      • IHE > is preparing a proposal for presenting in the next PSB (will be presented tomorrow, 28th)
      • eGOBLab > ask Fredrik if there is any other good reasons (besides capability) for handing this to eGOBLab.

 


ACTIONS NEEDED

  • Licinio Kustra Mano: Schedule next meeting: 3rd of June (Tuesday) from, 12:00 to 13:00 CET (60min)
  • Licinio Kustra Mano: Distribute editable roadmap materials, as well as ballpark estimate baseline numbers
  • Industry Team: Alexander Berler (Unlicensed) and Isabel Cruz: provide accurate estimates on time and costs (until 30th of May)
  • Licinio Kustra Mano: Compile and re-assemble presentations, making them available in PDF format.
  • Licinio Kustra Mano: Update the Athens event page with all the highlighs, so that the page can be distributed (with the PDF) for dissemination purposes. 
  • Licinio Kustra Mano: CI proposal from eGOBLab: update Fredrik and request for advise on how to proceed;
  • Licinio Kustra Mano: CI recommend Portugal, to materialize the proposed and accepted by the PSB alternative, for holding the CI on their own;
  • Jürgen Wehnert: Disseminate epSOS information on certificates renewing possibility for the next 3 years 
  • Licinio Kustra Mano: Make available the list of 15 Countries that shown interest in keeping the services running (included in the minutes)
  • Licinio Kustra Mano: Understand the AT team issues, and why they are struggling with certificates
